He answers

Today my mom said that I should pour out my heart. So here it goes.

He answers.

All my life I lived with brothers, no sisters. I prayed every night “Dear Jesus, Thank you for this day. Please give me a sister. Amen.” I prayed so hard.

After about six years when I was nine I gave up, maybe God didn’t want me to have sister.

Then, one Thursday morning my mom and dad said that my mom was having another baby!

This is my last chance! Then I started to pray again. Months later all the kids went to my Grandma’s house so my mom could go to the doctors to find out if the baby was a girl or boy.

After about an hour my mom and dad came back with a white bag with blue tissue paper. My mom told me to open it and inside it was a little pink dress! I screamed when I saw it!

God answers!

He gave me a baby sister I was so excited! More months later I woke up to find out that my mom and dad went to the hospital! But it was a false alarm. Then a while later when my dad, Timothy, and I went street witnessing with the youth group, mom called and told my dad that she was going to have the baby! We rushed home.

My dad carried the sleeping boys to grandma’s house and me and Timothy walked there.(grandma lives down the sidewalk) That night I had a dream and my mom and dad were back and it was another false alarm! Then I woke up and asked my grandma if mom had the baby and she said no! My dream was right!

Then on April 15 I found out that Hosanna(my sister)was born last night! April 14 is a night I will never forget! He answers!

Katie Ann - God does answer our prayers. What gets hard, is when He says no. Those are the times for trusting Him, that He has an awesome plan.
Your faith shines brightly sweet Katie. It's beautiful to witness. Keep writing.
